Mornings offer organic wakeups from our fresh island juice and coffee bar. Evenings bring serene and private oceanfront patio relaxation or late nights at our Drift bar overlooked by Commander Boonji statue at the end of the pier. Soak in the daytime healing of the island with your choice of high-octane watersports, boat rides to Prickly Pear Island, unwinding in mindfulness at our exclusive Bohemia Spa, or playing at our adult only or the family pool with cabana and beachside service.

Boonji the 22-Foot Spaceman

The Boonji Spaceman sculpture by artist Brendan Murphy, which debuted at the resort, is part of a collaboration between Murphy and Christopher Harding, one of the resort’s owners, to showcase several of Murphy’s imaginative pieces throughout Hodges Bay.

There’s Candy Hearts, a thirty-piece, three-story hanging sculpture as well as an astonishingly lifelike shark sculpture called The Fast Eat Slow looming over one of the lounges.

The resort, which opened in 2018, has been visited by celebrities like Ashanti, Ashley Graham, Lisa Rinna and Flo Rida.

Even though Hodges Bay is contemporary and filled with modern luxuries, we do not forget that we are on a small island in the middle of the ocean. Everything we have on this island is precious and we must conserve everything. Every drop of water is either rain water or desalinated from the ocean. We work hard to be environmentally neutral.
